Have you known that there is a patron saint of beer? Of brewing, to be exact. His name is Arnou – ‘St. Arnou’ to you non-saintly types out there. Check out the story here.
Brewed in Sydney, Australia, this batch of St. Arnou Premium Light is not a mass beer brand. Definitely not a microbrew either. Boutique beer? Maybe. Taste-wise, it’s ‘Saaz Hops’ give it a very distinct, almost sour taste. Full bodied and clear straw-coloured, goes down pretty easy. I wouldn’t necessarily categorise it as crisp.’ St Arnou comes in Pale Ale and Premium Blonde variants too. I noted that its an award winner at the Sydney Royal Beer Competition.
Would I buy it again? Hmm… maybe. Not the Premium Light, for sure. I think the complex taste from the hops or brewing process doesn’t do it for me. But that’s just me. You guys try and let me know what you think.

Hmm..1st time i’m hearing of this beer, going to head down to my local bottleshop in Sydney to check out if they have it!
Sydney? Check out the bar at Equilibrium Hotel, it’s St Arnou available. If I recall, they do have it on tap and they claim to have the most number of draft beers in Sydney.
