Or [insert premium hard liquor brand here] with [insert soft drink brand here]. Warm water is something I do drink brandy with, depending on occasion. Agree with both you and Andre, Chong. For some whiskies, especially the single malts, we like to add 1-2 small ice cubes as the water does help to open up the flavour. And the Chivas in question was consumed on a hot Saturday afternoon after a session of mountain biking, hence, a nice cold drink was in order! Actually, there was a Chivas TV commercial a few years back where some guys went ice fishing. They grabbed chunks of ice out of the frozen ground, chucked them in a glass and poured their Chivas over it. Still, it's all about personal preference. We totally respect your style.
