What you are reading is created by two guys who love their beer (actually, most drinks, but especially beer). Pretty much like the abotts who have so famously been known to brew some of the world’s famous monastic alcoholic beverages.
Actually the historic drink of choice in Korea is ‘soju’, a rough rice wine with a fearsome kick, which was often distilled in Buddhist monasteries. And yeah, in case you were wondering, we brew too.
More importantly, we wanted to share our forays into pubs, supermarkets, restaurants around the world, searching for different brews and the whatever else that goes along with them.
And hopefully, by doing so, we’ll raise the appreciation and bring out the beer aficionado in you.
And oh, why ‘175 Proof’? Wikipedia explains this well.
Thanks for stopping by.
