We’re sure you’ve heard of the story of Jet Blue air steward Steve Slater by now. But he deserves a bottle cap medal for his dashing exit by grabbing 2 beers from the service trolley before leaving the plane via the emergency exit! There have been an outpouring (no pun intended) of tributes to the beer steward that even Jimmy Fallon performed a song for Steve.

This is the best lesson we’ve learnt all week, as frequent business travellers ourselves, we’ll now always remember, if all else fails, at least we have beer.
